We designers of Chesapeake Architects are proud of the honors we've received. Beginning in 1982, these have included the "Most Innovative Energy-Conscious Design" award from Delmarva Power and Light, a "Preservation Project" award from the Maryland Historical Trust, a "Progressive Architecture" Award for rural town planning, and many "Excellence in Architecture" awards from the American Institute of Architects. We believe the diversity of these awards reflects Chesapeake Architects' client-centered planning process - our commitment to creating what is deeply appropriate for the owner's needs, in a form that leverages the assets of its site, is durable and energy-conserving  -  the fundamentals that are necessary to achieving long-term value from the Owner's point of view.
