Achieving the Owner's Goals

The original house had been built on the cheap, in the plywood sided, 1970's shed mode.  The new Owners wanted to take better advantage of the creek views, to up-grade its energy performance, and generally to improve the aesthetics.  We explored several design strategies and the Owner settled on the one you see.
